Excellent! Do you like it? I’ve been thinking about a Rigol scope vs a used Tek, but I had a bad experience with an Agilent scope so I’m a little hesitant to buy non-Tek stuff.

There should be brand new scopes set up in the labs when I get back to school next week. Im going to be trying to snag one of the old scopes when they are getting rid of them.

Seems to work fine for the lightweight work I put it through. If I outgrow it’s accuracy/precision capabilities I’ll upgrade, but until then, it seems up to the task.

Rigol and Mastek seem to be good budget alternatives to Tektronics and Keysight. If you get in heavy you’ll easily tell the difference, but it’s hard to ignore the massive price gap. I got spoiled on DPO4104s and 34401As at my last job. But we used the hell out of them with no issues. The Mastek supplies always seemed to have a quirk you had to work with that the 3631As never did. The 4095s started dying on us, but they were made when Reagan was president and the MC68000 was hot shit. (And the biggest DIP I’ve ever seen)
